These flows let you send automatic emails to customers who viewed products or left items in their cart without purchasing. This helps bring customers back to complete their purchase, increasing your potential revenue.
Note: The Browse Abandonment Flow and Cart Abandonment Flow are the only two flows that can be configured with TrackBee.
1. Connecting Klaviyo to TrackBee
Go to your store overview and click on the store you want to connect with Klaviyo.
Click on the connect button and log-in with your Klaviyo account. Give TrackBee all the pre-selected permissions.
Head back to TrackBee and click on the refresh button at Klaviyo to refresh the permissions. After this you will be able to connect Klaviyo to TrackBee.
2. Setting up the TrackBee flow in Klaviyo
Go to the base flow (your currently active Abandoned Browse or Abandoned Cart flow) you want to set up with TrackBee. The possible flows are:
Browse Abandonment Flow
Cart Abandonment Flow
Select the flow you want to set up and click on Clone.
Give the cloned Flow a similar name, but make sure to add “TrackBee” so that you know it’s a TrackBee flow. After that, change the trigger of the event and select the TrackBee equivalent. In the example below we use the added to cart - TrackBee trigger:
After cloning the flow, make sure to open it and select the top trigger. From here we’ll be adding ‘Profile filters’ in order for the TrackBee flow to only trigger if the base flow is not triggered.
Click on edit at the profile filters and scroll all the way down to “+and” and click it. Add a new filter like the example below, where the 'person has' is set to "Received email" and if relevant "Received SMS".
Click on “+and” again, and add the below filter as well. This will prevent duplicate emails to be sent from the different flows:
The "Equals" field should be set to the flow that we are not working on right now. In the example above, we are working on the flow based on the TrackBee trigger, and are thus excluding the regular flow that's based on the standard Shopify trigger.
The final filters for the TrackBee abandoned cart flow will look like this:
After this, the TrackBee flow is all ready to go and you can press review and turn on to put it live.
3. Configuring the standard flow in Klaviyo
In order to not send duplicate mails, we'll also have to add the profile filters to your original flow.
To do this open up your original Abandoned Cart flow (The one you initially cloned in step 2) and open up the trigger.
Proceed to the "profile filters" and add the following filters:
This is similar to the filters in step 2, but make sure to exclude the TrackBee flow based on the TrackBee trigger.
Update the status, publish the campaign, and you're all set.
Repeat step 2 and 3 when you're also wanting to set-up a browse abandonment flow.
