How do Automatic Subscription Tier Upgrades work?

TrackBee can automatically upgrade your subscription to a more cost-effective tier when your usage grows. This ensures you're always on the best-value plan - without having to monitor it yourself.

How it works

TrackBee checks your tracked revenue daily. If your usage consistently exceeds your current plan's included amount, the overage fees can add up. When a higher tier would cost less than your current plan plus those extra fees, TrackBee automatically upgrades your subscription.

Example:

You're on the Start plan (€79/month) with €25,000 included tracked revenue. If your store tracks €110,000 in a month, the overage fees on Start would exceed the cost of the Pro plan (€199/month with €100,000 included). In that case, TrackBee upgrades you to Pro - because it's the cheaper option.

Important details:

  • Upgrades only. TrackBee will never automatically downgrade your plan. If your usage decreases, your current plan stays as-is.

  • Only when it saves you money. An upgrade only happens when your current tier is the more expensive option.

  • Enabled by default. This feature is turned on for all accounts because it works in your favor. You can disable it at any time.

How to manage this setting

  2. Click Settings in the left-hand menu.

  3. Navigate to the Organisation tab.

  4. Scroll down to the Billing section.

  5. Toggle Automatic Subscription Tier Upgrades on or off.
