TrackBee Insights connects your store data to ChatGPT so you can ask questions about ad performance, campaigns, and conversions in plain English. Setup takes about 5 minutes and only requires adding a single custom app, there is no separate plugin step.
Before you start
You need an active TrackBee Tracking account and ChatGPT Plus or Business. Free ChatGPT plans do not support custom MCP apps. You also need the ChatGPT Desktop app installed, the web version does not support MCP connections.
Add TrackBee as a custom app
1. Open the ChatGPT Desktop app and go to Settings.
2. Click Apps, then Create app.
3. Fill in both fields using the values below.
Name: TrackBee Insights
MCP server URL: https://insights.trackbee.io/mcp
4. Under Authentication, select OAuth. ChatGPT will authenticate against trackbee.io using your account credentials.
5. Check "I understand and want to continue", then click Create.
Verify it works
Start a new chat in ChatGPT and type the following:
List my stores
If your stores appear, you are all set. Head to the How to use TrackBee Insights article for starter prompts and skills to try.
If you see "No stores found", your account does not have access yet. Email your TrackBee rep and they will add you within the day.
App not visible in ChatGPT? Confirm you are on Plus or Business. Free ChatGPT does not support custom MCP apps.
