When a "Shopify Access not up to Date" error occurs, TrackBee will alert you directly in your Overview dashboard. Make sure to troubleshoot this error by following these simple steps.

Understanding the Error

When Shopify updates its API or access requirements, existing app connections may need to be renewed. This error indicates that TrackBee's access permissions need to be updated to continue tracking your data properly. When this isn’t updated, it can result in the revenue of your store being attributed incorrectly.

How to Fix the Error

Step 1: Log in to Shopify

  • Open your preferred web browser and navigate to Shopify

  • Here you can log in, using your store credentials.

  • Within the option menu, navigate to your downloaded Apps

  • Now, open the TrackBee Connect App

  • Once the TrackBee Connect App is opened, a pop up will appear which will notify you about the update that can be performed

  • Make sure to follow the steps Shopify gives you to update this access

Step 2: Verify the Fix

  • If successful, you can redirect back to the TrackBee browser and open the Overview

  • Navigate to the "Shopify Access not up to Date" Error” and click on “Check Again”

  • This will allow you to check if you’ve troubleshoot the error
