Connecting Whop to TrackBee

How to Connect Whop to TrackBee

Written by Julia

This guide explains how to retrieve your Business ID and API key from Whop and connect them to TrackBee, so your integration is up and running in just a couple minutes.

Step 1: Find your Business ID

Whop doesn't show your Business ID anywhere in the interface. It only lives in the URL of your dashboard, so that's where we'll grab it.

  1. Log in to Whop and open your business dashboard at whop.com/dashboard. Make sure the right business is selected in the top left corner if you have more than one.

  2. Look at the address bar of your browser. The URL looks something like this:

    https://whop.com/dashboard/biz_XXXXXXXXXXXX/home

  3. Your Business ID is the part that starts with biz_. Copy everything from biz_ up to the next slash.

Tip: don't include the slashes or anything after them. The ID is just biz_ followed by a string of letters and numbers.

Step 2: Create an API key

  1. In your Whop dashboard, scroll down in the left sidebar and click Developer (near the bottom, above Settings).

  2. At the top of the page you'll see "Company API keys". Click Create on the right.

  3. Give the key a name you'll recognise later, for example "TrackBee API key".

  4. Under "Inherit permissions from role", select Admin. This makes sure TrackBee can read everything it needs.

  5. Click Create.

  6. Copy the API key and keep it somewhere safe for a moment. Whop only shows the full key once, so if you lose it, you'll need to create a new one.

Step 3: Add both to TrackBee

  1. In TrackBee, open the Whop connection screen (Settings → Integrations → Whop).

  2. Paste your Business ID and API key into their fields.

  3. Save, and you're connected.
