What Does “Customer Data Terms Not Accepted” Mean?
Google requires advertisers to accept the Customer Data Terms to use certain features that involve customer data, such as enhanced conversions. The error indicates that:
• You have not accepted the Customer Data Terms in your Google Ads account.
• Without accepting these terms, TrackBee cannot share necessary data with Google Ads for accurate tracking and optimization.
How to Resolve the Error
Follow these steps to accept the Customer Data Terms in your Google Ads account:
1. Sign In to Google Ads:
• Go to Google Ads and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to Conversions:
• Click on the Tools & Settings icon (shaped like a wrench) in the upper right corner.
• Under the Measurement section, select Conversions.
3. Go to Conversion Settings:
• On the Conversions page, click on the Settings tab.
4. Accept the Customer Data Terms:
• In the Settings page, look for a section labeled “Customer Data Terms”.
• If you haven’t accepted the terms yet, there will be a prompt or a button to “Accept” the terms.
• Click on “Accept” to agree to the Customer Data Terms.
5. Confirm Acceptance:
• After accepting, the status should update to indicate that the terms have been accepted.
• You may need to refresh the page to see the updated status.
6. Verify in TrackBee:
• Return to your TrackBee account.
• Navigate to the Google Conversion Booster setup.
• Click on “Check Setup” to confirm that the error has been resolved.
