This means that your conversion actions in Google Ads are not properly configured to use enhanced conversions. Enabling enhanced conversions is essential for accurate tracking and optimization of your ad campaigns. This guide will help you understand why this error occurs and how to fix it.

What Does “Enhancement misconfigured” Mean?

Google Ads offers enhanced conversions, which use first-party customer data to improve the accuracy of conversion tracking. The error indicates that:

• Enhanced conversions are not enabled for your conversion actions in Google Ads.

• Without enabling this feature, TrackBee cannot send enhanced conversion data to Google Ads, affecting the accuracy of your tracking and optimization.

Follow these steps to enable enhanced conversions in your Google Ads account:

1. Sign In to Google Ads: Go to Google Ads and log in.

2. Navigate to Goals > Summary: Click the goals icon in the left bar, then click the conversions drop down and select the Summary.

3. Locate Your Conversion Action:

• On the Conversions page, find the conversion action named “ORDER (TrackBee)”.

4. Edit the Conversion Action:

• Click on the name of the conversion action to open its settings.

• Click on “Edit settings”.

5. Enable Enhanced Conversions:

• Scroll down to the “Enhanced conversions” section.

• Check the box to enable enhanced conversions.

• Set the method to “Google Ads API”.

• Note: Do not enable “Enhanced conversions for leads”, as this is not used by TrackBee.

6. Save Your Changes:

• Click on “Save” to apply the changes.

7. Wait for Changes to Take Effect:

• It may take up to an hour for the changes to take effect in Google Ads.

8. Verify in TrackBee:

• Return to your TrackBee account.
