When setting up the Google connection in TrackBee, some Google Ads accounts may not be available for selection. Currently, this applies to accounts that have cross-account conversion tracking enabled. Here’s why these accounts aren’t selectable and what this means for your setup.
Why Certain Accounts Are Not Selectable
Accounts with cross-account conversion tracking rely on a centralized account to manage and report conversions, rather than handling conversions directly within the account. This setup is incompatible with TrackBee’s current design, which connects directly to individual ad accounts for conversion tracking and data sharing.
Supporting accounts with cross-account conversion tracking would require TrackBee to make significant backend changes, such as integrating with multiple Google Ads accounts simultaneously and routing conversion data to the appropriate central account. For now, this functionality is not supported.
How to resolve
If your Google Ads account has cross-account conversion tracking enabled and is not selectable in TrackBee, you won’t be able to connect it for conversion tracking at this time. To continue using TrackBee effectively, we recommend connecting an account that manages its own conversions directly.
Looking Ahead
TrackBee plans to support accounts with cross-account conversion tracking in the future. However, this feature is not expected in the near term as it requires extensive development work and infrastructure updates. We’ll keep you informed as we make progress on this feature.
